Pailin is a destination of ecotourism and agro-tourism activities. Pailin has several waterfalls. Kbal OChra waterfall or 32 tiers waterfall is about 8km from Memoria Palace & Resort. You can either access by a pick-up car, a dirt-bike, a mountain bike or by walk.
You up and down the hill but along the pathway to the waterfall, you will be allured by natural surroundings, fresh-air, sound of bird singing, and the agriculture activities of the locality. This waterfall is a hidden charm in a serene locations of virgin landscapes.
Kbal Ochra Waterfall
From each tier to another tiers, you need to walk from a hundred meters to few hundreds meter along the trail or along the river to view each tier. The trail is not difficult but walking along river maybe difficult due to big limestone and rocks or walking against water-rapid specially during raining season from July to October. When you are on tier 32, this means you are on top of a Cardamom Mountains. You can sight all landscapes. You will be adorned of panoramic views of its surroundings including seeing big and tall-tall trees.
The area is also a home of wildlife- a congress of baboons is possible to see daily and a cry of gibbons you will hear 2 times per day at 9am or at 3pm. This is a video of a tier 10th of 32 tiers of Kbal O'Chra waterfalls, and it was taken on 15 November 2016. This waterfall is a must see place.
